The Mersey band is offering an adult band camp weekend for beginners March 12-14.  No previous experience is necessary.  The fee for the weekend is only $50.

Did you miss out learning to play an instrument whe you were younger?  Have you always wanted to play an instument?  remembver its never too late to learn!  Maybe you played once but need to dust off that band instrument.  Register for our band camp weekend and find out if this is something you'd like to pursue.  Follow -up lessons are available.  Three attendees from last year's band camp weekend are now full fledged members of the Mersey Band!

You can choose from a variety of instruments all provided by the Mersey Band, including trumpets, trombones, and tuba, saxophones, clarinets, flutes and drums. 

The fun starts at Gorham School on Friday, March 12 from 7:00- 8:30 p.m. where you'll select an instrument, learn a few things about it, meets some of the memers of the Mersey band.  Saturday from 9:00- 3:00 p.m. you'll receive individual and small group instruction.  Sunday hours are from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 pm.
